Composed of the uber-talented Will Bailey (guitar), Drake Davis (drums), Alec Olsen (bass), and Donnie Pinner (guitar), Clipboards is yet another spectacular product of the Michigan DIY emo scene—and this is only the beginning. From its very first note, this record is as high-energy as it is introspective, filled to the brim with wildly inventive guitar lines, polyrhythmic syncopated breakdowns, and four talented vocalists belting lyrics you won’t be able to get enough of.
